Austin Adams supports Commercial Lease Code of Practice 20th�May�2005:��At the end of February, following two years� research done by the University of Reading�s Business and Law Schools, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) issued a report on its research findings into the impact of the new Code of Practice for Commercial Leases (the Code) introduced in 2002. Although not legally binding, the Code is seen as �best practice� for both landlords and tenants when it comes to negotiating and signing new commercial lease agreements.
