Five new routes at Southampton Airport
Staff at Southampton Airport are preparing for a big week with five new routes taking off to France, Sardinia and northern England.
On Thursday (May 12), low cost carrier Flybe will be starting three new scheduled services from Southampton to Rennes (France), Liverpool and Leeds/Bradford.
Flybe will be operating a four-times-weekly service to Rennes, a daily service to Liverpool and a daily service to Leeds mostly using Dash8-Q400 aircraft with 78 seats.
On Friday (May 13), Flybe also start a five-times-weekly scheduled service to Bordeaux.
Saturday (May 14) sees a new weekly flight to the beautiful Italian island of Sardinia served by tour operator Holiday Options.
