Impressive new offices at The University of Southampton Science Park

27 March 2006:

An impressive new office, Lime Tree Walk, is being developed at The University of Southampton Science Park (previously known as Chilworth Science Park) which should be ready for occupation in August 2006.

The 30,000 ft2 state-of-the-art building will provide flexible office space in units of 500 - 6000 ft2; two or three units can be joined to give an area of 1085 ft2 (101 m2) or 1614 ft2 (150 m2), and on the first floor there are no internal columns so a completely uninterrupted floor of 6000 ft2 can be created on each side of the central service block. The development will provide 100 car parking spaces.

The central area contains reception, post room and a ground floor waiting area for visitors, plus several rooms which can be used for meetings. This area also contains a lift, shower rooms, lockers and toilets with full provision for the disabled. Modern security systems protect the perimeter of the building and access is available 24 hours a day with our security key system.
