Studio 144, located in Southampton's Cultural Quarter, will provide a city centre auditorium and studio for leading producing company, Nuffield; a new home for the internationally renowned John Hansard Gallery; and inspirational supporter of film culture City Eye.

The pedestrianised walkway that bi-sects Studio 144 and links Guildhall Square to East Park has now been has re-opened.

Guildhall Place will provide improved links across the city centre and the opening comes as Grosvenor’s phase of construction activity approaches completion.

Later in 2016, Southampton City Council will begin work on improving the connection into the park.

In additional, the development includes The Guildhall Apartments offering residents the first ever opportunity to live in this part of Southampton. Residents are expected to start moving in this spring.

There are also seven new restaurants and cafes, 5 national and 2 local operators.
