Last chance to find out how to find and then win tenders

Are you a small or medium sized firm that sometimes thinks about bidding for a tender but is put off by the jargon, the time commitment and the complex and bureaucratic procedures?
Alternatively, have you bid and not won, and wondered how you could improve your chances of winning one of these lucrative opportunities?
Help is at hand! A short introductory workshop together with a more detailed workshop are now available which will outline the process in layman�s terms and enable you to maximise the opportunities on offer.
The local European Info Centre with the support of Southampton City Council and Business Link Wessex are organising five interactive workshops to help explain and encourage small business to bid for these opportunities. There will be two levels � Level 1 for those new to the process and Level 2 for those who have a little experience and want to spend some time working through a tender document. A free lunch will be provided to all delegates.
The Level 1 workshops will run in the morning and the Level 2 in the afternoons (apart from Friday). Each workshop will last three and half hours and are an excellent introduction to the tendering process. The dates and timings for these local events are listed below. The cost is �20 per person for Level 1 and �40 per person for Level 2. This amount will be invoiced to your company after the seminar.
Colin Stewart who is a leading expert in the tender process will run the seminars. In addition, a buying officer from Southampton City Council will be available to take some of your questions (subject to availability).

Wednesday 6 October at Chilworth
Thursday 7 October at Southampton Football Club
Friday 8 October at Southampton Civic Centre
