The Southampton Enterprise Hub was launched in May 2001, covering Southampton, Winchester, Eastleigh, Test Valley and the New Forest.
For new business start ups and young growing companies, the Enterprise Hub concept offers opportunities for affordable workspace on easy terms, clear business advice, guidance and access to finance, R&D; support, networking and clustering.
At Southampton Enterprise Hub the mission is to assist dynamic knowledge-based businesses that are already, or wish to be based in Southampton / South West Hampshire. The hub is able to nurture companies in their pre-start up phase and help them through to becoming fully established.
Financial support is also high on the agenda and a number of young companies have been successfully assisted with their bids for SMART award funding and access to regionally based venture capital and growth fund schemes.
